A girls' trip should be leisurely and relaxed 😌—no need to rush! If you’re short on time, 2-3 days is enough. For extra days, consider adding Dali or Lijiang to your trip—their scenery is equally stunning 🏔️.

Day 5: Pack up → Grab a meal → Enjoy a Thai massage 💆🏻♀️ → Head home

During the day, there are almost no vendors or activity—best to go after 6 or 7 pm when it comes alive.
Market Street
It’s near the night market. We bought our Dai costumes at "Wei Rong Clothing" here—only 18 yuan per set! If you want a necklace or belt, add 20r. It’s probably the cheapest in the area.
Manting Park + Zongfo Temple (🎫 Ticket: 40/person)
Xishuangbanna is super hot in summer 🥵! We went out early to eat, arrived at Manting Royal Garden before 12 pm, took photos and wandered around until 2 pm, then cleverly took a taxi back to the hotel to enjoy the air conditioning ‼️ Wearing Dai costumes makes for amazing photos! If you plan to enter Zongfo Temple, remember to pack a thin jacket in your bag (for modesty, as temples have dress codes).

Wild Elephant Valley (🎫 Ticket: 58/person)
You can feed the elephants 🐘—20r for a small fruit basket, 80r for a large one. Get up close to Asian wild elephants; these big guys eat fruit really fast. The large basket we bought was emptied in no time!
