Taipei is a dynamic city where modern architecture and traditional cultural heritage coexist harmoniously. As a backpacker, I'm especially fond of its convenient transportation and abundant culinary offerings. Taipei 101, once the world's tallest building, allows visitors to overlook the entire city from its observation deck. The National Palace Museum houses a vast collection of precious Chinese cultural relics, serving as a key venue to understand Chinese history and culture.
Ximending is a paradise for young people, boasting a wide range of trendy shops and delicious food. The night market culture is a prominent feature of Taipei, with Shilin Night Market and Raohe Street Night Market being excellent spots to savor local snacks. Taipei's cafes and bookstores are also quite unique, offering a glimpse into the literary side of the city's residents.
Taipei is truly a city that leaves people reluctant to leave.
