Let's talk about food🍧
📍Near Baotu Spring~
1️⃣Lao Zhou's Beef Biscuits
(It's a time-honored brand in Jinan, and a spot that Wu Lala and Tang Tan have visited. The beef biscuits paired with meat and mutton soup taste great, and it's a frequent haunt of locals)
📍Near Jingshi Road, Mixc
Da Ziwei Shandong Cuisine Olympic Sports Center
(As a time-honored restaurant in Jinan, it's a go-to place for parents and elders to hold banquets. The kidney flower paper buns are excellent and leave a deep impression)
📍Near the old commercial port of Daguanyuan
1️⃣White Pig Bistro
(It's a hidden gem that even locals find hard to get a table at. With about 30r per person, the desserts and snacks are fantastic, and I go there twice a week)
2️⃣Huaxiang Food
(It's a 30-year-old brand. Old Jinan folks have been eating here since they were kids. The Baizi Cake, Shaqima, and other honey-based foods are worth remembering and can be taken as souvenirs)
3️⃣Xiao Qingdao Rice Noodles
(It's a 30-year-old Jinan brand, right next to the two shops above. The portions are large, and the kimchi is excellent)
📍Near Hongjialou
1️⃣Xinxiu Fried Chicken
(It's a "queue king". My family is fond of the cheese balls and snow fried chicken, which are salty, crispy, and come in large portions)
2️⃣Sister Ying · Dingding Tang Cold Pot Fish
(There's sometimes a queue even on weekdays. Trust me, make sure to note that the first pot has more bullfrogs because the first pot has a stronger flavor, and the black fish slices taste just like meat!)
3️⃣Taiwan Milk Flavor Crispy Mahua
(It's another "queue king". Go early. It's right next to the church, 2.5r each. I buy a bag every time I go there, and the 1r egg tarts are also delicious)
4️⃣Xixiangju West Store
(The 1r egg tarts are great, and the freshly baked butterfly puffs are tasty)
📍Furong Street - Daming Lake - Qushuiting Street
1️⃣Wuyue Temple Braised Pork
(Wulala and Tang Tan have eaten here! The braised pork is thick and big. I always bring my friends from other places here when they visit)
2️⃣Yanshan BBQ
(It's a 30-year-old shop. The grilled white strips, small red kidneys, and craft beer are all favorites of old Jinan people. You can order whatever you want without any regrets)
3️⃣Hongjie Old Hotpot
(Wulala has also checked in here. I was amazed when I ate it in Jinan. My Sichuan roommate said it's very authentic! There are more than a dozen kinds of desserts, and there's always a queue during meal times)
4️⃣fufuland
(The matcha-flavored soufflé and ice cream are both good, not too sweet or greasy)
5️⃣Doudou Fried Yogurt
(It's a local favorite. You can write your own order, queue up, then go shopping and come back. The blueberry, mulberry, plum, and matcha flavors are all good! Sister Doudou is very warm-hearted)
6️⃣Sunshine Handmade
(Near the north gate of Daming Lake, with beautiful and delicious items in a wide variety)
7️⃣Taro Quilt Roll
(Taro is a must-try! It's not sweet at all!! Very satisfying. I eat it three times a week, and it's very close to fufuland)
📍Near Minzu Street
1️⃣Huiquanlou Restaurant
(It's a century-old brand, a place where locals eat. I haven't been to Kuishengju... It used to be called Supreme Source. The Supreme Tofu, Stir-fried Kidney, Milk Soup Pucai, Sweet and Sour Carp, and Stir-fried Vegetables are all good)
2️⃣Minzu Street Market
(There's Han Lao Tou Liangpi, Sticky Rice Cake, Donkey Roll from Xi'an Zenggao, self-selected cold dishes, Yaoji Fried Nuts, and spicy hot pot at the entrance)
Tastes vary from person to person, so this is just for reference. Welcome to add more recommendations~
